Onboard image processing

Epsilon 175 is capable of detecting its target day and night from the distance of up to 14 km*. Its superior image quality combined with exceptional stabilization performance makes it a perfect solution for detecting and identifying targets at long range.

The onboard processing leads to a rock-solid target tracking performance and eliminates communication latency issues. Epsilon 175 requires lower bandwidth datalinks and high-quality video stream along with snapshots can be stored in HD quality onboard.

Four-sensor MWIR gimbal

Epsilon 175 is the smallest four-sensor MWIR gimbal that combines cutting-edge sensor technology and high accuracy of geo-location and moving map software. Providing high-quality video with ultimate stability even at 45x optical zoom for daylight camera and up to 15x continuous optical zoom for MWIR camera, it enables the system to operate in any lighting conditions.

Its robust structure is optimized for handling very demanding conditions, including shock during landing and rapid acceleration during takeoff.

Target tracking

The new generation Epsilon 175 is capable of hands-free tracking of moving objects day and night. Once the operator allocates the target and zooms in, regardless of the aircraft movement direction, the onboard processor holds the target in the centre of the video screen. Epsilon 175 is capable of identification from significantly longer distances than other systems of this size and weight.

Rugged, lightweight, environmentally sealed

Epsilon 175 is IP64 rated, so can be operated in any conditions. Its environmentally sealed construction will protect electronics from dust and heavy rain.

The advanced aluminium structure is very robust and optimized for demanding applications were the gimbal needs to handle shock and rapid accelerations.

Epsilon 175 can handle routine parachute recoveries, net recoveries, belly landings and catapult launches with ease.
